Jenny Cooke

Jenny is the Founder and driving force behind MT4Uth.

She worked with the BBC for 16 years and then worked as a freelance production manager for a variety of independent TV companies.

Jenny is also a Lay Magistrate in the Juvenile Courts, a Governor of a Preparatory School, and a board member of Kabosh Theatre Company.

Peter Gordon

Marketing Director of the Lookers Group plc - one of the UK's largest motor retailers.

Originally from Coleraine, Peter was educated at Coleraine Academical Institution and the University of Ulster and now lives in Boardmills with his wife and daughter.

He has taken a keen interest in MT4Uth since his company recently sponsored 'Footlighters' and has kindly agreed to give up some of his spare time to provide marketing advice through our Advisory Panel.

Peter said; "I am delighted to 'hang my hat' on this wonderful charity. MT4Uth gives children from every background, an opportunity to realise their ambitions, whether it be to progress their careers to an international level in musical theatre or simply, do what they enjoy most...singing, dancing and entertaining us all. Nikki Larkin

Nikki Larkin is Managing Director of LJK Communications, one of Northern Ireland’s leading PR and event management agencies which represents a wide variety of consumer and corporate clients.

Nikki graduated from the University of Ulster with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies specialising in Marketing and has over 14 years experience in the communications industry. Nikki is also Chair of the Events Committee of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) NI and is married with two sons.

Zaron Perry

Zaron has been in education for 27 years and is now Principal in Trinity Nursery School, Bangor. Zaron’s involvement with MT4uth began when her daughter Niamh took part in the first “Musical in a Weekend” in Stranmillis College Belfast and she has supported the company ever since.










Alistair Pollock

  Alastair is Retail Director of Phoenix Natural Gas, which is one of   

  Ireland’s largest privately owned utility companies operating in Northern

  Ireland.  He has driven forward the development of the gas industry over

  the last 10 years by adopting a number of innovative sales, marketing

  and customer service strategies. 

  In his career he has been Managing Director Of Kwik Fit in Ireland, and 

  was a Senior Executive for BP in England, Scotland and Northern

  Ireland. 

  Alastair is currently a member of the CBI Council for Northern Ireland,

  Secretary of the Energy For Children Charitable Trust, and is a member

  of the Musical Theatre for Youth Committee.


Suzie Scott

Suzie is currently Director of a property development company.

She holds a History of Art and Architecture degree and used to work for Christies Fine Art Auctioneers.










Helen Thompson

Helen has worked with BBC Northern Ireland for the last 12 years and as Client Manager for External Business has been involved in a diverse range of projects and programmes with Independent Production Companies, Events Companies, charities and community organisations.

Prior to joining the BBC in 1997, she worked with Brian Waddell Productions as Marketing Executive, Opera Northern Ireland as administrator and HETV as Head of Production. While the media and communications industry may be her profession, the Arts are her passion and her background in theatre as both an actress and dancer has given her a unique understanding of trials and triumphs young people in particular may encounter on this path.

Helen lives in Belfast with her partner and son, and despite working full-time she recently completed a Masters in Film and Television Management and Policy at University of Ulster and won the Dean's Prize for Academic Excellence.
